Hi. I am Jeremy Zach. I was aspiring to become an USAF fighter pilot but God called me to be a youth worker. In 2001, I dropped out of AFROTC and called my local church to see if they needed any help in their youth ministry. They said “yes” and for the past 12 years I have been a crazy youth ministry guinea pig trying to experiment with what works and doesn’t work in the church context.
So welcome to my student ministry lab–REyouthpastor.com. I obsessively research and read everything that pertains to youth ministry. I am currently serving in the Middle School ministry at Browns bridge community church. I place a high value on connecting with and learning from student pastors. I am always looking for great youth ministries to study, so if you have an unique context and doing some cool things, please contact me.
I have been happily married for 6 years to Mikaela. We have a beautiful daughter named Harlow and 2 calico cats. We live in Atlanta and I love hot sauce and Dr. Dre Beats.
I work at Orange with XP3 Students. I essentially get to study and come along side youth workers that are thinking about how to reactivate the family and translate the Gospel in order to reach the next generation. Bottom line: I get to connect with student pastors from everywhere who are distinctly rallying around the Orange ethos.
