Go –> Haiti part 1

Like most of you, before the Port-AU-Prince earthquake, I had no exposure to Haitian culture and history.

In fact, a lot of my youth ministry philosophy mainly focused on local missionary work.  Before Haiti, I have only been to impoverished countries for their awesome all-inclusive resorts.

I went to Haiti for a week and now I am completely different person, husband, and youth minister.    Haiti did something to me that no other person, school, youtube video, book, class, sermon, podcast, and professor has done for me.  Haiti put a huge dent in my soul.

Going to Haiti is not the cool thing to do.

I invite you (the youth pastor) and your youth group to watch this video and listen to why I think it is important and safe for youth groups to GO to Haiti.

You’re a video blogger!!! yay! And you’re so good at it, too! You should do more.

I totally see your passion and still feel it myself, too. Wanna go back with me? Seriously… like, May or June? I’m looking into it.
